The Inn at Old Virginia offers elegant lodging and lovely event facilities to create a memorable wedding experience. Whether you are simply looking for a unique location for the bridal shower or rehearsal dinner or wish to schedule a full Weekend Wedding package Virginia, the Inn can provide the amenities you need.
For a truly special Rehearsal Dinner, let the Inn at Old Virginia treat you and your guests to a full four-course dinner. Selections include one soup, one salad, any of two entrée choices and one dessert. Based on availability, we are also often able to accommodate special dietary needs and entrée requests. You may customize your event by adding Hours d’ oeuvres, and a selection of Virginia and other wines, beer, and soda is offered on premise. The Inn will provide a list of these offerings upon request.
The special nature of our preparations and facilities require that the Inn at Old Virginia limit our offering of Private Reserved Dining to parties of between 15-30 persons. Although we require only a minimum 72-hour notice to reserve the date we suggest you reserve The Inn well in advance of your event. Depending on availability, short notice may require menu choice adjustments. Specific details of the Event will be included in an Event Agreement. A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the Projected Food Cost is due one week prior to the Event. Short notice events require this deposit at the time the event is booked.
The Inn will be happy to discuss various options with you for accommodation of groups larger than 30 persons. If for any reason you need to cancel or change the number of guests, we require a 48-hour notice. The Inn at Old Virginia offers a beautiful and intimate setting for your Virginia wedding ceremony. With the lovely scenery of the Blue Ridge Mountains surrounding you, celebrate your special day on the grounds of the Inn. We will coordinate tent rental, seating rental and setup/teardown of all equipment to ensure that your day runs smoothly.
While the Inn does not provide arrangements for musicians, photographers, or floral arrangements, if requested, we will be happy to provide a list of reputable service providers. Please be sure to discuss the details of your ceremony, including any musicians, photographers, floral deliveries, etc., with the Inn staff so that we can make appropriate accommodations.
From a simple cocktail reception to a buffet or sit-down dinner, the Inn at Old Virginia provides outstanding food, indoor and outdoor guest seating options, and other arrangements to complete your special day.
The Inn at Old Virginia coordinates rental of tents, tent lighting, dance floors, and seating to make the most of our beautiful grounds. Rental includes setup and delivery, and tent sizes can accommodate up to 200 guests.
Indoor reception facilities are limited to 30 – 50 people utilizing our Private Dining or Cocktail Party options. The Inn can also provide outdoor hors d’ oeuvres and a buffet for up to 200 guests for your reception.
All Entrees served with Chef’s Suggested Accompaniments including Oven Roasted Rosemary Potatoes, Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Havarti Cheese & Chive Au Gratin Potatoes, Steamed Broccoli, Creamed Spinach, Cheesy Polenta, Fresh Green Beans with Roasted Red Bell Peppers, Quinoa with Grilled Asparagus, fresh Herbs & Olive Oil, Seasonal Grilled Vegetables & Roasted Garlic, Rolls and Butter.
Served Beverages are Water, Coffee, Decaffeinated Coffee and Tea.
Champagne or Sparking Cider Toast served with the Cutting of the Cake.

Lodging at the Inn at Old Virginia is ideal for special guests and the Virginia wedding party. To assure that all guests of the Inn have an enjoyable stay, if more than two (2) rooms are required, all ten (10) guest rooms at the Inn must be reserved and occupied by your guests. If all rooms are reserved, each room is eligible for a 10% discount, based on the Inn’s In-Season rates.
Guests should contact the Inn directly regarding lodging accommodations and services. The Inn will charge the Host for the lodging costs and services of guests staying at the Inn unless otherwise agreed. A first night deposit is required on all rooms no later than 120 days prior to the event.
