And now Staunton has its very own located in the old Echols Building downtown. Beth Brown is the owner of Crack the Code Escape Room. And her love for solving a good puzzle is evident.

Equipped with some excellent props, clues, and 60 precious minutes, it’s up to you to solve the puzzle of your choice. Clues are everywhere. You just have to be savvy enough to find them.

Whether you’re a guest of the Inn at Old Virginia or a local, Staunton’s escape room could be the best fun you have while giving your brain a workout!

So What IS an Escape Room?

An escape room is a real life game to solve a puzzle. You are locked in the puzzle room of your choice, given a set of clues, and have 60 minutes to find the key that lets you out of the room. (Don’t worry. If you can’t find all the clues to get the key, Beth will let you out of the room anyway!)

The fun is in the challenge of working with your friends to find the key before your time runs out.

DaVinci’s Office: You have an opportunity to solve one of DaVinci’s riddles. And, you’ve been given access to his personal living quarters. Can you solve the riddle that those before you couldn’t?

The Bunker: In this scenario, you’re stuck in an old nuclear lab with a radioactive leak. Now the whole base is contaminated. That means safety procedures have been implemented with a countdown to auto destruct. You have to stop the clock so you can get out before it’s too late! Can you?

The Asylum: Locked away, you get no visitors. You hear only whispers. You have to find your way out!
